Basic & Pro Se Class Registration- June 21, 2023

Save thousands of dollars by attending our combined Basics of Guardianship and Pro Se Traning courses! In the Basics of Guardianship Class, attendees will be provided with information about the process of guardianship including how to seek guardianship and/or conservatorship, types of guardianships allowed within Utah’s guardianship statute, choices of ways to proceed with guardianship, when to seek guardianship, and changes in legislation and new court programs.
Then in the Pro Se Course attendees will take what they learned in the Basic of Guardianship course and learn how to represent themselves before the judge in a guardianship hearing, how to fill out the documents correctly, and also receive verbal and written instructions on how to file paperwork with the court.
***REGISTRATION IS GOOD FOR ONE GUARDIANSHIP***
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY:
DUE TO COVID-19, we will be running this class a little differently than before. We ask that if anyone is sick in the household you do not attend, and be aware that we will be taking temperatures at the door. If you have a temperature over 100.4, you will be required to wait until the next training.
--This current training and Pro Se documents are assumed to be valid for use in any guardianship hearing from August 2021-June 2022. Guardianship Associates of Utah cannot guarantee the use of any Pro Se Document due to possible legislation change that was suspended due to COVID-19. As soon as we hear of a change, we will let you know.
