In this 2 hour class you will learn how to act Pro Se (represent yourself) in a guardianship proceeding.  During the class we will teach you to fill out the documents required.  Following the classs the templates of documents will be emailed to you.  You will learn how to file the documents with the court to set up your hearing.  You will also learn how to represent yourself during the court hearing.  We will provide you with a list of attorneys who will represent the protected person at a reduced cost and information about the Guardianship Signature Program. If you are a parent guardian and you are seeking guardianship of a child who has been disabled prior to 18, a new statute that went into place on May 10, 2016 allows for those children to no longer need legal representation.
